Mexican Mondays with Chef Eduardo Sandoval

Chef Eduardo Sandoval grew up in the border town of El Paso, Texas, neighboring ciudad Juarez. He was surrounded by Mexican street food that was served every weekend at his family’s swapmeet, El Bronco, a colorful marketplace where each vendor brought something unique to the table. Inspired by the food that he grew up on, his abuela’s cooking, and the energy of the swapmeet, Chef Eduardo’s “El Broncito” is an homage to the Sandoval family and Mexican street fare.

We are honored to be hosting him this MONDAY, JUNE 2ND for a pop-up “El Broncito,” in a collaboration we’re brilliantly calling Mexican Mondays. “El broncito” will be offering elote, Mexican shrimp cocktail, tortas, tacos, burritos (not California style), and gorditas from 6 – 10 on June 2, with more Mexican Mondays to come.

The Drink will be serving a combo of Mexicali, a crisp Mexican pilsner, with a shot of Pueblo Viejo, our killer well tequila that is 100% agave and produced at produced at San Matias, one of the oldest distilleries in Mexico. We’re also using Monday’s pop-up to re-launch our much beloved summer punch, The Mutiny, made with tequila, watermelon juice, lime, mint and rhubarb bitters. Salud!
