Welcome. We are a neighborhood bar in East Williamsburg serving punch, cold beer, fine spirits & house-made snacks designed to survive on the high seas. The Drink opened in December 2010 and was designed with a nautical influence; built by its owners (a group of sailors, builders, artists, musicians & bartenders) with materials salvaged from family members and our own far-flung basements, attics & barns and furnished with the same. We also regularly host events, food pop-ups, and live music, so be sure to check our events section for upcoming events.
We love hosting pop-up food events here at The Drink. We get to help out food start-ups, and we all get to try some awesome new food. Our schedule changes with the seasons and the schedules of the chefs we work with, but there’s almost always something fresh and new happening each week, whether it was our pals at acclaimed Ethiopian vegan spot Bunna Cafe before they moved to a permanent location in Bushwick, brand new ventures like Burmese Noodle Bar, or neighborhood favorites like El Bronquito, a Mexican Street Food pop-up.
We have a ton of fun events planned for you this winter, including Krampus, Caroling with Mom, Shakespeare in the Pub, the Vince Guaraldi Charlie Brown Christmas score live, more square dancing, a February Film series, and more. Check our Events page for updates thorughout the season, as well as our Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter for popups, DJs and other events.
